OverDraft Privilege

As a service to our customers, Richland State Bank offers an Overdraft Privilege Program. The service is typically granted  to checking account customers in the amount of $1000.00 and for Free Checking or Totally Free Checking, a limit of $500.00.

Accounts will be charged the standard Overdraft Fee of $29.00 for handling each overdraft created by check, ACH, Point-of-Sale, ATM Withdrawal, in-person Withdrawal, or other electronic item that is paid and $29.00 for items returned. For Overdrafts created by ATM and everyday debit card transactions, the consumer must Opt-In to have these covered by their ODP. After an account is overdrawn for 5 consecutive days, on the 6th day a $3.00 daily overdraft fee is charged per day until the account is brought to a positive balance. An overdrawn balance must be repaid within 30 days. We may not pay your items under your overdraft privilege if you do not maintain your account in good standing by bringing it to a positive balance within every 30 day period for a minimum of 24 hours, if you default on any loan or other obligation with Richland State Bank, or if your account is subject to legal or administrative order or levy.
